Engagement Rings

Finding the Perfect Ring

What are the 4 Cs and why do they matter?

The 4 Cs — Cut, Color, Clarity, and Carat — are the universal standard for evaluating a diamond. Cut determines brilliance; Color measures tint; Clarity grades inclusions; Carat is weight.

Our GIA-certified gemologists walk you through each factor and help you prioritize based on what matters most to you. For the complete picture, see our 4 C’s buyer’s guide.

How much should I budget for an engagement ring?

There’s no rule. The right budget is whatever feels comfortable. We work across a wide range of price points and will never pressure you to spend more than you’re comfortable with.

Can you design a custom engagement ring?

Absolutely — it’s one of our specialties. You’ll work directly with our master jeweler from concept to completion: sketches, stone selection, setting, every detail. Most custom rings take 4–6 weeks. Schedule a consultation to get started. You can read the whole process in our custom design guide.

What ring settings do you offer?

Solitaire, halo, pavé, three-stone, bezel, cathedral, and more — in platinum, white gold, yellow gold, and rose gold. We also carry vintage and estate settings. Come in and try styles on — it’s the best way to know what feels right.

How long does it take to get a ring?

From our existing collection, same day or within a few days after sizing. Custom designs take 4–6 weeks from approval. Working with a proposal timeline? Let us know — we’ll make it happen.

Do you offer resizing after purchase?

Within 90 days of purchase we offer one complimentary resizing with your engagement ring purchase. After that, resizing is available at standard rates. We also offer ongoing cleaning, inspection, and maintenance to keep your ring looking its best.

Gold & Estate Jewelry

Common Questions for
Selling Your Jewelry

What types of gold and jewelry do you buy?

Gold in all karats (8K–24K), sterling silver, platinum, loose diamonds, estate and luxury watches, coins, bullion, and antique pieces. Broken or damaged items too — condition doesn’t affect precious metal value. Learn more in our complete selling guide.

How do you determine what my gold is worth?

We test karat and purity, weigh each piece on a certified scale, and reference live spot prices. For gemstones, our GIA-certified gemologists evaluate separately. Everything is done openly, right in front of you.

How does the selling process work?

Bring your pieces in during store hours — no appointment necessary, though we recommend one for large collections. We evaluate on the spot, explain our findings, and make an offer. Accept and you’re paid by check same day. No obligation.

What do I need to bring when I sell?

A valid driver’s license, and the pieces you’d like to sell. We test and weigh everything in front of you, and you’re paid by check the same visit.

What is estate jewelry and how is it valued?

Estate jewelry is any previously owned piece — not necessarily antique. We evaluate based on metal content, gemstone quality, craftsmanship, provenance, and market demand. Some pieces are worth significantly more than melt value. More in our estate & antique jewelry guide.

Do you buy broken or damaged jewelry?

Yes. A broken chain, bent ring, or missing-stone piece still carries its full precious metal value. Bring it in regardless of condition.

Is selling my jewelry confidential?

Completely. All evaluations are private and we never share personal information or transaction details.
